Logo Blocks

If you would be interested in incorporating the BMQG logo into your next project, please read on.

I recently ordered some BMQG logo fabric from Fabric on Demand. The fabric turned out great. Each block is 4.5" (4" logo, 1/4" seam allowance) - on 6oz cotton. One of these blocks can be yours for a suggested $2-3 donation to the guild. If you are interested please bring exact change to our next meeting. See you all soon!

August Meeting

Hi all!

Just a reminder that the next meeting is Sunday, August 11 at Seminole Sampler. We start at 1:30. This month, you're invited to stay and sit and stitch after the meeting is over (hand stitch that is!) EEP anyone?

The Halloween charm swap is due at the meeting. We're swapping 5" charms of Modern Halloween Novelty fabric, or print fabric in Halloween colors (no solids please!) Here are some great choices!

Moda's Pumpkin Party

If you didn't sign up, there are a few slots left. Simply bring 1 yard (unwashed) fabric cut into 56 5" charm squares. You'll go home with a Halloween Charm Pack!

Also at the October meeting....

We're bringing Jacquie Gering to Baltimore in October for a workshop! (See Deb's log cabin post below for great quilt ideas!) Details at the meeting.

A demo, a book review and a blog review! Wow!

And don't forget to bring your current faves and finishes for show and tell.

Can't wait to see you there!
