Carolyn Friedlander is coming to Baltimore!

We are thrilled to announce that Carolyn Friedlander will be joining us on Saturday, April 16th to teach her Facing East workshop.

Facing East is a strip-friendly project that combines appliqué, paper piecing, and color theory and can be found in Carolyn's book Savor Each Stitch. Carolyn will walk you though the techniques involved as well as show you how to create your own color story.

  • When:Saturday, April 16th from 10am - 4:30pm, set up begins at 9:30.
  • Where: Woodbrook Baptist Church (map, 25 Stevenson Lane, Baltimore, MD 21212)
  • What: Carolyn will be teaching her Facing East pattern from her book Savor Each Stitch which combines appliqué, paper piecing and color theory with this strip friendly project. She will walk us through the techniques involved as well as how to create your own color story with this bold and versatile project. Each workshop participant will need a copy of Savor Each Stitch which is $21 on Amazon.Cost: $70, limited to 25 participants
  • Food: Attendees should bring their own lunch. Light snacks and drinks will be available during class time.
  • A materials list will be emailed to confirmed participants at a later date.

Workshop seats are first come, first served. We will email you to let you know if you have a seat or if you are on the waitlist by Friday, March 25th. Payment to secure your seat is due no later than March 30th or your spot will be given to a person on the wait list. Payment details will be provided in the confirmation email.
