October 14, 2017 Workshop with Victoria Findlay Wolfe

On October 14, 2017 the guild hosted a workshop with Victoria Findlay Wolfe.  The workshop was for the Herringbone Pillow.  We were treated to a small trunk show, too.  Below are some of the photos I took at this very fun event! (Scroll down to the bottom for a great group photo!)

Victoria showed us the difference between a regular braid quilt (the one she's holding) and the
herringbone, behind her and below (the quilt she made from a 30 yard fabric purchase!)

The large template was used to make the quilt shown here.

This quilt and the one below use her Christmas fabrics.

There was a shop with lots of goodies to buy!
Victoria's sample of the 2 units that get sewn together.
Placement of the 2 units, showing how to do the partial seams.

Here are a few works in progress...

Victoria also explained how to finish the pillow.
