The Baltimore Modern Quilt Guild will host Debbie Grifka of Esch House Quilts on March 10th, teaching her bias tape applique methods for modern quilt making. The all day workshop will include a half-hour lunch break (bring your own brown bag of yummies:). Debbie will also be lecturing at the monthly guild meeting on Sunday, March 11th (Arbutus branch of the Baltimore County Public Library at 2pm).
Debbie lives in Ann Arbor, MI and is on a mission "... to add a little beauty to the world and to help others do the same." Her work can be viewed on the Esch House website and is very modern in the most graphic sense. She has had quilts at the Houston International Festival, at Quilt Con and wrote the book Lines by Design Quilts published in 2016.
Registration for this workshop will open to members on Jan. 27th and to the general public (if spaces remain) on Feb. 10th. [Now open!] Check your membership email for information on registration. Students will receive a supply list for the class.
